GrindQuest is here to help you forget about all the things video games do that you hate, and accentuate the things that are notable and fun. I like to concentrate on the good stuff happening, and try to find the shiny red apples amongst all the brown garbage. If I spend time talking about something that was poorly designed or executed, I will usually attempt to balance it with an opposite. Above all, I want to be fair, and have honest discussions. The name of this blog is my view of the state of videogames today, you’re either grinding something out, or watching cutscenes, or doing samey quests. There’s a lot less freedom and a lot more repetition, but I like to take note of games that break the mold. I also tend to talk about other nerd subjects, like movies or books, if I feel like it.
